1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using mycohort.space ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
mycohort.space provides a community platform for alumni networks, including verified member directories, messaging, job boards, and governance tools. The Platform is operated by mycohort.space from Morocco.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. Each person may only maintain one account.
4. Member Verification
Communities may require identity verification through LinkedIn OAuth, email verification, or peer vouching. Providing false information during verification is grounds for immediate account termination.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: impersonate another person, post false or misleading information, harass or intimidate other members, use the platform for spam or unsolicited outreach, attempt to access other members' data without authorization, or violate any applicable laws.
6. Community Governance
Each community is governed by elected moderators. Moderators have the authority to enforce community rules, approve or reject membership applications, and moderate content within their community. Platform-wide policies take precedence over community rules.
7. Job Board
Companies pay to post job listings. Members apply for free. Companies may not use the Platform to browse member directories, contact members directly, or access member data beyond what applicants choose to share.
8. Intellectual Property
The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by mycohort.space. You retain ownership of content you post on the Platform but grant us a license to display it within the Platform.
9. Payment Terms
All prices are displayed in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD). Community fees are billed annually. Pro member subscriptions are billed annually with a 30-day money-back guarantee. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.
10. Limitation of Liability
mycohort.space is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Casablanca, Morocco.
